I have been struggling for a long time now with my weight and really need to do something about it now.

I was recently (well, back in March/April) diagnosed with Celiac's Disease so I typically don't eat breads and pasta, which are full of carbs so that has helped a lot, but people (like me) didn't realize that carbs are in things like fruit.

I so need a change and honestly, I have no reason not to as I have a ton of time to work on ME!

Any suggestions?

Kim M. Push-Up's & Pancakeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03391514150706550676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391754843064402633.post-73648704223862164922012-10-09T04:35:49.360-07:002012-10-09T04:35:49.360-07:00About 50, which is mostly from fruit. For weight loss, I think it's best to stay under 50, because that is the threshold for being in ketosis, which means the body is burning body fat for fuel instead of carbs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391754843064402633.post-85557209522084596262012-10-08T15:12:43.639-07:002012-10-08T15:12:43.639-07:00How many carbs do you have a day?How many carbs do you have a day?Leaving Obesity Behindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00839067400154979245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4391754843064402633.post-67681204510307835012012-10-08T15:09:59.507-07:002012-10-08T15:09:59.507-07:00When you cut your carbs back, you will lose a sign...When you cut your carbs back, you will lose a significant amount of weight. If you've never been on a low-carb diet before, you should check labels on food that you're uncertain if it's low-carb or not.

I know how food is a struggle. Low-carb has made it easier for me. There are a lot of good low-carb foods and meals you can have. If you feel inclined, try out new foods (before low-carb I had never had avocado, almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, or flax seed and now I like them all), and you can make your favorite recipes but with low-carb substitutes. You can't fail at this diet if you have plenty of yummy low-carb food around. Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
